Incredibly comfortable loafer!
These might be the most comfortable shoes I’ve purchased. I’ve been looking for dressy/casual loafers to wear with jeans for an elevated yet casual style, and I simply had a very difficult time finding a pair that a) I liked, b) were dressy/casual enough, and c) fit well. Others loafers I ordered in my usual size 8 ½ Medium were always too snug to wear with socks. The socks I wear aren’t thick, but apparently that little bit was enough to make the shoes too tight for the medium width. This pair is offered in a wide width, and I took a chance, ordering 8 ½ Wide. Lucky for me, they fit like a glove! No breaking in needed at all, they fit great right out of the box. The front of the shoe has a slightly squared toe box which I think helps make them more comfortable. The top of the shoe is leather and is very supple which I really like. The vamp comes back far for a flattering design. They're quiet while walking, and they're also a quiet design - they don't shout with buckles or penny holders or such. I hope they make these in other colors. I’d love a pretty chocolate or navy pair.
