Louisa Denim Blazer

Perfectly sized for me. There is plenty of room in the arms for those with larger arms. This blazer was made with extra material for those who are curvier on top and in the hips. The waist also fit me perfectly so not too baggy or too tight where the material would pull or wrinkle. The material looks just like in the photo, maybe a bit shinier. There's not much stretch but just enough to make this denim jacket so comfortable to wear, not too stiff but enough to be wrinkle free. This is a collector's item I hope I will still fit for years to come. I think someone can still look good in this jacket one size up for a roomier fit, but I love a more snug fit and got my size.

For me, this was just not flattering, largely because the shoulders have too much padding which gives me a very broad, top-heavy look. I’m a bit broader in the shoulders anyway, so it is probably lovely on someone with different proportions. I also found the fabric to be shinier than expected and, on me, the sleeves were longer than shown but not full length, so a bit awkward. On the positive side, like most Cinq a Sept pieces, it’s beautifully tailored. . For reference, I’m just about 5’5” and normally wear a 12. I found it was pretty much true to size, particularly if you are not broad-shouldered. A lovely piece for someone else; alas not for me.
