Lauren Scalloped Ballet Flat (Women)

I have wanted these Chloe scalloped flats for more than a couple of years. The high price put me off, as well as insecurity about what size to order. I measure, and usually fit in, size 7-1/2M, but I typically go up to size 8M if pointy toes, boots that I'd wear socks with, or I want more comfort space. I decided to order 8-1/2 M in both Pink Tea (beautiful neutral color) and black leather. When they arrived, they seemed too long because there was a gap at the heel, but I walked around at home on carpet and they felt good, although a tad loose. The Pink Tea right shoe had a small dent at the heel. So I called Nordstrom at Phipps Plaza, and Keith the manager answered the phone. He was very helpful and placed an order for both colors in size 8M and a replacement in 8-1/2M for the dented Pink Tea, to be delivered to the Nordstrom store, not my home, so I could try on the smaller size in the store. (The only negative surprise was that my credit card was charged for these additional three pairs of shoes, when my expectation was that the store would order them as an internal transaction.) When the 8M arrived at the store, I drove there and tried on the shoes in the presence of Manager Keith and Assistant Manager Anthony. They were so helpful! They gave me their opinions that the 8-1/2M looked too large, and the 8M looked like a much better fit. Right! These shoes in 8M are sooo very comfortable and worth every cent. All-leather shoes are in a league of their own. I think these shoes run a tad small; the size advice for this shoe is accurate to size up a half size. They are beautiful to look at, on top of the great comfort. Thank you, Keith and Anthony, for your excellent listening skills and service.
