Tiered Ruffle Long Sleeve Chiffon Dress

I normally wear a size 2, but ordered an xxs based on others’ reviews. It fits just right and is beautiful. (The sleeves are long enough!) It does have a VERY generous amount of fabric, plus an unattached lining, which adds to the excess. It looks great from the front, not so great from the side….. However, I’m going to keep it, the neckline and sleeves are flattering plus it’s very comfortable. I plan to wear it with tall heeled boots.

I always wear a size Small or 6/8 in dresses. Based on some of the previous reviews, I sized down to an XS but it was huge! Fit like a Medium or Large! For reference, I am 5'5" and weigh 136 lbs and the XS was much too big!??? Not sure if mine was an isolated sizing error (?) But am returning and trying the XXS (which I never wear in other brands) and hoping it will fit more accurately like a Small. Lots of fabric makes the dress appear bigger than it is, too. Sizing is overly generous. Be sure to size down! Dress itself is beaitiful, just sized very incorrectly.

I'm 64 inches tall, 40 DDD, 38 inch waist and bought the 1X for ease in my chest and broader shoulders. I thought the length was perfect on me when I wore it with dressy bone colored sandles and a fun wide brimmed hat.
