V-Neck Short Sleeve Pocket T-Shirt

Caslon has gotten 'cheaper' in the way they make their t-shirts over the years. I've been buying new Caslon t-shirts, lots of them, since 2010 and I've noticed oddities with sizing being too small as if they are trying to save cloth, and necklines going from very cute to just slobbish like this t-shirt. Last year the V-shaped neckline was sewn like this one but was also stitched again near the edge then the edges were cut to make a 'raw edge' and that looked much better as it was not effected from washing due to the second layer of stitching near the 'raw' looking edges. Until this year 2024, Caslon t-shirt necklines always lied flat after washing and look good... but this new neckline gets all big and bunched up and ugly, with no way to fix it except by ironing, which I did once, but never again as it felt absurd to iron a t-shirt (not to mention I don't have time for such pettiness). It might be that I am at the end of my years of buying Caslon clothing a couple of times per year... we'll see if they return to good materials and good stitching next year, which will be the final test year for me.
