Long Sleeve Drop Hem Button-Up Shirt

Great shirt for untucked dressing.

I bought this at the anniversary sale. I love the cut (though it is a little on the large side) but it wrinkles so badly I hate to wear it. I’ve tried hanging it to dry as well as tumble drying it. No matter, it comes out extremely wrinkled. Getting the wrinkles out requires a serious session with the iron, and even then I can’t get it to look crisp.

This blouse is nice 100% cotton, cute cuffs, nice gathered back, nice collar and interesting hemline. But this blouse is WIDE. So wide it is a frumpy look.

This shirt runs a little large but the intended fit is flowy. I am a M & sometimes a L & I took the M (broad shoulders/34DD). The front is a bit shorter (hits at the hip but does not expose tummy when arms are raised) & a dropped hem in the back. There is gathering across the shoulder blades that gives the top a bit of volume. It is a fun twist on the more classically styled button up. Love that it is 100% cotton lending it to year round wear. I plan to wear this out but could also tuck it in to a midrise or high-rise pant. So versatile in white that I went back & got the blue stripe.

While I realize this was meant to a bit oversized, the overall length wasn't bad but found the medium just too large and billowy on my petite frame--too much fabric and with the hem at the bottom in the front a front tuck didn't feel/look right. Unfortunately, this was returned.
