Cashmere Sweater Hoodie

I won't be keeping this because it doesn't fit my body type, but it does look exactly like the photos and is very soft. I wear PL, and the sleeves are 5 inches too long on me. You can see on the photo that the sleeves are long on the model as well. The torso is long also. I would say that since this is a looser silhouette, order a size down from what your normal "fitted" size is. Also, the sleeves are almost a drop sleeve but not quite. They are sewn a little funny (drop shoulder seam), but I guess it matches the sweatshirt hoodie look that they are going for.

Full disclosure: I'm a total cashmere snob. Have a large collection of 5 or 7-ply $400-$500+ gorgeous sweaters that now, after losing 50 pounds, are mostly comically huge on me (or oversized and chic? Fingers crossed). Point is, I grabbed a few sweaters out of desperation and not expecting much--just needing a cashmere fix that actually FIT me but not willing to pay up the wazoo since I'm still in the midst of my weight loss journey. THIS sweater is fantastic--especially for a department store brand (no offense Nordstrom, love you, kiss kiss!). Yes, it's thin. It's 2-ply. 2-ply sweaters are thin. Yes, it pills. A thousand dollar cashmere sweater will also pill. That's what cashmere does. Get a sweater shaver or comb. But it also is not the least bit itchy, it's soft as a baby goat's belly, and it's super cozy and cute! Boxy, but with slim sleeves. To compare, the "classic" fit crew neck in same size is 21" wide (ptp) and 25" long--this hoodie is 24x24. I'm currently 160 and 36B/C at 5'8" and the large is oversized. I could've gone with a medium but it would be too short for my liking. Bottom line: I find myself reaching for it again and again, and would happily pay full non-Rack price for this. Prolly gonna get another one right now, in fact.

Glad to have purchased this hoodie. It was super soft, and I purchased the color I wanted; camel. It's light weight but perfect for autumn days. I'm 140 lbs and 34C, size small fits right for me. If you like to layer this with something underneath, maybe size up. I like my sweater fitted but not tight. Nordstrom had something similar during their anniversary sale, but by the time I wanted to purchase it, they were all gone. So, happy to have gotten this one at a lower price!

I thought that this would be like the one I bought during the Nordstroms Anniversary sale but it isn’t. That one fit perfectly and was thicker. I’m returning this one and will hope the Nordstroms one goes on sale at some point as the Anniversary sale ones sold out almost immediately. A bit disappointing
