Southampton Embroidered Maxi Dress

Cons: Bought a medium even though I'm a true small as I'd read that it ran small; however will need to return it since it fits like an XS. Is fully lined but lined with cheap polyester which makes a swooshing noise with movement. Full length placket that only has buttons down to knee. Pros: Looks very pretty.

Loved this on the model. Two complaints in person… 1.) the dress is lined, but since I wanted this for hot weather, the lining made me warmer just thinking about it. The quality of the material and finish was perfectly fine, in fact good. However, #2.) on my 5’4” frame, it was to long and covered my toes, even with moderate heels. (I looked like I just got off the covered wagon!) Anyhow I decided the lace on the sleeves should also be half the size of the lace on the bottom, because the sleeves also seemed overly long. I think it’s a great dress for a taller person who gets chilly in the summer. Sadly this one will go back.
