Southampton Embroidered Maxi Dress

I always wear a medium and even sometimes a small in dresses. I am a b-c cup. I could not even get this dress close to buttoning in the waist or bust. It’s too bad as it is a beautiful dress. Not even sure a large would fit and I’ve never worn a large in dresses.

Cons: Bought a medium even though I'm a true small as I'd read that it ran small; however will need to return it since it fits like an XS. Is fully lined but lined with cheap polyester which makes a swooshing noise with movement. Full length placket that only has buttons down to knee. Pros: Looks very pretty.

This dress is a show-stopper! The quality fabric is soft and moves beautifully. You can dress it up with heels or down with sandals. It’s such a unique design and I got a ton of compliments when I wore it. The fit is perfect. I'm 5’5”,110 lbs. LOVE this dress!

Loved this on the model. Two complaints in person… 1.) the dress is lined, but since I wanted this for hot weather, the lining made me warmer just thinking about it. The quality of the material and finish was perfectly fine, in fact good. However, #2.) on my 5’4” frame, it was to long and covered my toes, even with moderate heels. (I looked like I just got off the covered wagon!) Anyhow I decided the lace on the sleeves should also be half the size of the lace on the bottom, because the sleeves also seemed overly long. I think it’s a great dress for a taller person who gets chilly in the summer. Sadly this one will go back.

Southampton embroidery white dress

This dress, in white, is stunning. I've had so many compliments.

I am 5'4 and the skirt came to my ankles and with the lace on the bottom made it appear as if I just got off of a covered wagon. Skirt is fuller than pictured which only added to the 1800's costume like feel. I bought the dark green with Christmas in mind, so I will have to venture to the mall to return. It ran quite small in a medium and I usually wear a small size.

Based on recommendations below sized up to an Large when I normally wear Small (5'10 127lbs). It arrived a generously sized L. I can only guess quality control issues since some say too large, some too small. The black looks very formal in real life, not a party dress. I'd reorder in one of the bright colors.

I purchased this dress in white. It looks great on and it is a beautiful take on a "standard" white dress.

This dress was beautiful!! I bought the red one and received so many compliments. It fit great as well. I ordered the Medium (I'm between 160-165lbs and 5'6").

I get endless compliments when I wear it. Great quality. Love it!
