Southampton Embroidered Maxi Shirtdress

This dress looks really elegant but there are 2 major flaws in it. First thing, it is lined with this really cheap synthetic material that make it sound like you are wearing a plastic bag. It rustles each time you move and makes this really weird sound like someone is crushing a plastic bag. I wish they had used a different material for the lining. The other flaw is that the sizing is off. I got it in medium which is my actual size and it was really really snug. So I exchanged for a bigger size and then it looks weird around the underarm because although now it fits the belly area, it is looser in the upper body area. I so wanted to keep this dress because it looks amazing but I don't want to sound like a walking plastic bag.

Let's start with the good; this dress is extremely flattering and beautiful in person. Now, for the bad, the reviews highlighting the noise that results from the polyester lining were spot on. I cannot emphasize this enough, every little movement you make will be accompanied by a swooshing sound, think of the old school windbreaker jacket noises.
