Details & care

What it is: A pre-poo that helps spring coils back into action after heat-styling or hair-straightening treatments.

Who it's for: Ideal for curly, coily and tight hair textures.

What it does: A curl-reviving pre-poo to help coils return after heat styling. Straightened strands will revert back into soft curls. Ends are left nourished and moisturized resulting in bouncier curls. Promotes elasticity and smoothes unwanted frizz. Founder Tracee Ellis Ross picked a fragrance that's clean and not overpowering with notes of jasmine, bergamot and sweet sadnalwood.

How to use: Apply the treatment evenly from root to tip on dry hair. Allow to sit for 10–15 minutes or until curl reversion is complete. Rinse with cool water and follow with PATTERN's Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner of choice (sold separately).

Bounce Back Pre-Poo
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bounce Back Pre-Poo does absolutely nothing for my hair. I wanted to love this product like I do many other Pattern Beauty products, but it makes no difference in the amount of curl in my hair. Maybe it will work for others but it does not work for me.

Lived up to the hype
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My sister has been singing Patterns praises for years but I only recently decided to stock up on supplies. I have very curly hair but mostly wear it blown out or straightened because it tangles so badly. So far I am pleasantly surprised by how their products are equally moisture-dense and lightweight. My curls look defined but super soft and healthy.

Bounce back
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love using pattern product line. I have the entitled collection for coily hair. The pre-poo product is amazing it brought my natural curls back to life. Along with using the curl mousse and curl gel, gave my curls the hydration and care that it needed.
