Grady Driving Loafer (Men)

These shoes are made from quality materials and look great. I would say the outward appearance and style is exactly the same as Nordstrom's in-house version, but these have a fabric liner on the inside (not leather), which makes them a bit tighter. As such, I had to size up one whole size. 4.5 stars.

I keep these in my car as designated driving shoes. Might wear them for quick errands at times but not that good for regular walking. Length runs almost true to size but width is almost a full size smaller. I usually wear size 7 for other Boss shoes which fit perfectly. Nothing about it is impressive but that’s the beauty of driving shoes. The upper leather feels cheap and but not stiff. Inner lining is leather on the tongue, fabric on the sides and suede on the heel. Insole is not removable, feels soft and actually keeps a nice balance between cushion and feel. Outsole is made of hard/slick rubber, but again it doesn’t feel stiff. The whole shoe feels flexible out of the box and ready to wear, no break it, which is what Boss shoes usually achieve.

Loafers are meant to be broken in over time. I was concerned when I first tried to put them on, but I managed to squeeze in and I got comfortable after a few minutes of walking. Now I can take them on and off with no discomfort and they still stay on my feet firmly. I bought these in my usual shoe size (Men's 13) and I wear them with no socks. The squeeze For those who intend to use socks, then maybe going up a size is a consideration. Love the leather and the unique layout of the underside. This will be my summertime daily driver for day to day.
