Born Carter Combat Boot (Women)

These boots look exactly like the picture, which is nice, and they are very soft and comfortable which is hard to find in a boot. The lining is a fuzzy kind of velvet material that hugs the foot and keeps any pressure a boot would normally put on the top of the foot arch at bay. I am a true size 7 1/2 and that’s what I normally wear in all shoes, even boots, but I find this boot runs a 1/2 size larger so I sized down to a 7 and it was a perfect fit. I could get away with wearing a 7 1/2, but I didn’t want to risk any rubbing from it being a loose fit, so that is something to take in consideration. The reason I took off a star is because at this price it should be made of real leather, even though it is my fault for not reading that part of the description and just assuming, it’s a real disappointment. Otherwise a really comfortable and versatile boot that I’m sure I will get a lot of wear out of, thinking of getting another color, but the price puts me off.

I went by the reviews and went half size smaller. They fit perfectly. They are narrow and I usually like wide but they are comfortable, cute and easy to put on. They have a nice smooth lining inside. If you have a wide foot it may not agree with your feet. I love them and they are my go to boot for shopping, dinners etc…
