Born Carter Combat Boot

These boots look exactly like the picture, which is nice, and they are very soft and comfortable which is hard to find in a boot. The lining is a fuzzy kind of velvet material that hugs the foot and keeps any pressure a boot would normally put on the top of the foot arch at bay. I am a true size 7 1/2 and that’s what I normally wear in all shoes, even boots, but I find this boot runs a 1/2 size larger so I sized down to a 7 and it was a perfect fit. I could get away with wearing a 7 1/2, but I didn’t want to risk any rubbing from it being a loose fit, so that is something to take in consideration. The reason I took off a star is because at this price it should be made of real leather, even though it is my fault for not reading that part of the description and just assuming, it’s a real disappointment. Otherwise a really comfortable and versatile boot that I’m sure I will get a lot of wear out of, thinking of getting another color, but the price puts me off.

I went by the reviews and went half size smaller. They fit perfectly. They are narrow and I usually like wide but they are comfortable, cute and easy to put on. They have a nice smooth lining inside. If you have a wide foot it may not agree with your feet. I love them and they are my go to boot for shopping, dinners etc…

Looks nice on line Comfort isn't there. Look sort of cheap. Disappointed in born especially for lack of comfort. I'll stay away from the brand Born.

I specifically purchased this because I wanted to combat boot that zipped, and BOC almost never lets me down. However, these ran small so I’m not able to wear them even with an average winter sock, let alone a boot sock. I’ll be returning them.

Normally love Born shoes. The inner heel is a strange fit. I didnt realize, but the boots are not leather. Wonky fit for me.

I find it hard to find comfortable shoes that look stylish. These fit the bill. I adore them! I'm 47 and have a mild bunion on one foot and find these comfortable. The laces are too long for my taste so I swapped them out. However, I'm not deducting a star for that minor detail. Overall, great quality and style.
