If you passed this dress up thinking it was too plain, then you missed a deal of possible opportunities. This simple little black dress can translate as either a "date night" or "out for fun night" worn with the proper accessories, and travels well for those "on the go"! Any dress that can be worn without the need of additional underneath slip coverage is also a plus! Great staple to have for last minute outings. 5'2 145 large bust and M was perfect. Returned the L because it has so much stretch that it was big. Not sure if this would be too short for anyone over 5'6
