Billabong

In 1973, Gordon Merchant was making board shorts out of his house in Australia and selling them to local surf shops. Word got out about the durability of the shorts—his triple-stitching technique handily conquered the tough Australian waves—and Billabong took off. The company has since expanded into other areas of clothing and accessories for men, women and kids.

Shrunk

These pants were wonderful until I washed them. I followed the instructions for washing and they still shrunk over an inch and are too short now.
