Crinkle Metallic Floral Gown

Bought for BTO wedding in August (afternoon to evening). The green is pretty and shot through with shiny threads (hard to see in pic). While this fit, it was verrrry long (I don't plan on wearing sky-heels) and I didn't want to have to get it shortened. Also, do to the neckline, I assumed I'd be able to wear a bra to deal with my larger chest. However, it has sewn in cups, which make sense for someone smaller. I don't remember reading that in the description or probably wouldn't have ordered it. Returned.

Needed a dress for a Gala that could be packed nicely in a carry on suitcase and this dress was perfect! Nice and flowy. Normally a 6 but had to size up to 8. Also has pockets!

I’m 5’7”, 160 lbs, 36C. I normally wear a size 6 but gained about 10 lbs and am in a tight 6/loose 8. I bought this in sizes 8 and 10 and the 8 fits like a glove. I have a long torso and broad shoulders, and it fits me everywhere. It has a built in shelf bra which isn’t the most supportive thing in the world, but shapes the girls well and gives no bra line or back fat - which is worth every penny. I bought gold kitten heels with a subtle basket weave design by Sam Edelman (also from Nordstrom) and they’re the perfect height in the front. The front hem sweeps beautifully over the floor and there is about an inch of train in the back. I stepped on the train a couple times so you will need a higher heel if you are shorter than me or if you want no train on the floor. The empire waist is truly flattering and the entire dress is breezy and comfy, especially with pockets. The front slit is high so pop in a seam or just be ladylike. The high neck is not tight - and this was 5 days after I had neck surgery. **Pictured is the size 10 at Nordstrom; I will try to add a size 8 photo when I put it back on!
