5 Quart Cast Iron Covered Casserole Dish

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been the perfect size for the two of us. It heats evenly, things aren’t sticking to it and it didn’t need to be preseasoned ! I was especially impressed at how easy it was to clean. The food came off easily /‘d because it isn’t porous it didn’t soak up the red from the soup in the picture. No stains, no sticking. Seriously the quickest cleanup compared to so much of my cookware! I just used a mild soap and a sponge and all the food came right off. Be sure you hand wash this to keep it beautiful. Don’t use anything that would be abrasive for scrubbing (honestly, you won’t need to). Another perk - rhe handles and lid handle didn’t get so hot that I couldn’t touch them. I’ve noticed with some they get so hot you can burn yourself- not this one. I see us using this for things we want to go stovetop to oven. I’m looking forward to making some bread in it too! Perfect for 2 people!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dutch oven is heavy duty. This is the type of product that (with care) could last you a lifetime. The exterior is gorgeous. I am so glad that i selected the purple color. Exceeded my expectations. Immediately after washing it i made a pot roast - i mean how else are you supposed to react? It was 10/10. The meat and vegetables absorbed almost all of the liquid. It was just so juicy and it was the kind of meal that clings to your bones. It held everything perfectly. I can’t imagine needing a larger dutch oven than this one. After the meal came the real job, How does it clean up? Surprisingly - super well and very easily. No stains or marks left behind. Was very impressed with that.
