Great boots for walking in the city or country
These boots were great right out of the box. Wore these boots new to NYC, walking at least 16,000 steps a day (according to tracker) for 5 days and these boots were so comfortable the whole time. I’m thinking about buying a second pair!

Returning the Belfast Lace Up Boot
I chose to buy this boot because I wanted a shoe or boot that had the right foot support, which I expect to get from Ryka, and that was also waterproof. Unfortunately, this boot did not support my foot that well. I kept pronating in with the foot that has the bunion. I have not experienced that before. It must be because the laces do not go far enough down toward the toes. So I could not pull the laces tighter where the bunion sticks out, in order to provide the support that I expect to get. That is why I buy lace up shoes most of the time. The Devo group of Ryka shoes provide the support I need. Now, I need for them to make a waterproof shoe or short boot that laces up, and fits the foot like their "Devo" does.

Love my new Ryka Belfast Lace Up Boots! Got the brown they look great (I love the little subtle lilac details), comfortable,no break in necessary. Rugged sole yet light weight. Keep my feet dry on a rainy day,zips up for easy on/off and can adjust for thick socks.

Great fit straight out of the box!
I bought these in my normal size 7.5 and the fit is perfect. I normally wear 8 in Ryka tennis/sneakers, but I realized for other styles the size is a good half smaller. These boots were comfortable the second I put them on. Love the design & feel of the shoes. The treads are perfect, excellent interior support as well. I was worried there was not enough arch support but it was not the case. The zipper on the side allows for easy on/off. Easy to adjust the laces. The best part for me was the ankle area was very comfortable. I’ve found ankle boots to chafe or be too rigid & cause pain. These boots fit great, felt comfortable & comfort lasted throughout the day. I can fit medium thick socks. I did get 7.5 Wide. If you normally wear normal size you’ll be ok. I got wide in case I needed to wear thicker socks & mainly wasn’t sure if these boots would be narrow at the foot. There’s plenty of wiggle room. I could have purchased my usual size but I like the extra space & fit was great - no sliding about. Definitely recommend.

Nice but wide has very large toebox
The wide is very wide and sizing is very generous. I could of probably ordered regular vs wide. My ryka sneakers are wide and fit fine.
