Bedford Slim Fit Jeans

The style is nice, the size is accurate, and the fit is comfortable. However, the jeans have a very strong rubber or chemical smell that hasn’t gone away even after washing them twice following the care instructions. Unfortunately, this makes them very difficult to wear, as the odor is quite overwhelming. I'm disappointed because I expected better quality control, especially from such a well-known brand. It would be ideal if products like this were checked before being shipped. I'm considering returning them if the smell doesn't go away soon.
