Powder Original Dry Shampoo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this free in exchange for an honest review. I liked the idea of this dry shampoo as a non aerosol product! The photo shows that the lid comes off to reveal a lid with a hole in it where you sprinkle the dry shampoo onto your hair. I had a little trouble aiming where the sprinkle fell in my head, so u like the idea but don’t love the actual use. Overall the shampoo itself only works ok in my hair and generally doesn’t absorb enough oil, so that’s why I gave it 3 stars.

Think baby powder dispenser but only with one of the tiny holes it makes it really hard to get the product out of the container. It’s a great formula I just wish it was easier to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the formula itself. It absorbed oil well and was nicely scented. Didn’t leave a white residue. I found it easier to blend than the aerosol. However, I struggled with the packaging. It was hard to open the valve and to get the product to come out. With improved packaging this would be an excellent drug store find.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never used a dry shampoo powder before, only spray, so this was an interesting experience. The powder itself is fine & the bottle is easy enough to figure out. I may have had a hard time twisting to open it, though. The smell is much less overpowering than the sprays and smelled kind of nice. I’m not sure I’m a huge fan of the application process just because it’s hard to gauge how much powder to use, at least compared to the sprays. I definitely recommend doing it in sections as instructed in case you use too much powder. The excess doesn’t absorb super well into hair that’s already got some & leaves a white powdery finish. It’s a decent enough product & is supposed to be worth several spray cans, but I think I prefer the aerosols (unfortunately).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really like this dry shampoo! It's my first time using Batiste brand, and it was extremely effective at controlling my oily roots between washes. I usually use an aerosol dry shampoo, but was wanting to switch away from that to a true powder version. This might be my new go-to!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The advice is right: a little goes a long way! It smells pleasant, vaguely of artificial watermelon. The powder is fine and blends in easily (just don’t use too much!). As you can see in the pictures, this immediately took away all the shine and greasy feeling from my hair. I appreciate that this product lasts twice as long as a regular can. Be careful, however, to twist the inner lid before putting the cap on. If not, you will have a cloud of dry shampoo the next time you use this.
