B.Elite '84 Italia Sneaker (Men)

These B. Elite shoes are the few models still made in Italy by Diadora at their factory outside of Venice, Italy. Most Diadora shoes, including some B. Elites, are now made in Vietnam. Look for a small tag under the tongue stating made in Italy. These shoes are indicated as unisex at Diadora’s web site. Thus, caution for women who are thinking of purchasing to ensure correct sizing. The Diadora web site lists the men’s and equivalent women’s sizes for reference. The shoes I received are true to size, very comfortable and light, and of high quality in materials and workmanship. I was really nervous that I would receive a woman’s size 8 but this was not the case. Delivery was very fast. These shoes typically cost over three-hundred dollars; thus, it is a steal at ninety-nine, plus tax and shipping, at Nordstrom Rack. Thank you.

In order a 7.5 in these and they were HUGE!! While they said women’s online it was marked 7.5M on the tag. As big as they were they’re probably men’s shoes. And I had to pay $9.95 to ship them back when they were easily two sizes too big so they had to be mislabeled online as women’s and not men’s.

I received in my package what was clearly a man’s shoe. This posting needs to be fixed. Problem number 2: I initiated a chat requesting a return label at no charge. It was AI (it began with full disclosure it was AI and I’m ok with that but it was the first time I had experienced this with Nordstrom’s chat). The AI response to my request for a no charge postage fee was that it would be “reviewed”. Not “of course”, not, “yes” no problem, our error. When I requested clarification that it’s no charge? AI insisted = give me your address and other info so we can finish this transaction and I can send your label. AI fail. Disappointing. I’ve been a dedicated Nordstrom customer for decades - I am at the top tier of benefits because of my dedication to shopping with Nordstrom. The customer service was always excellent. Nordstrom to me was always an island of predictably good customer service as others fell away. Is this a one - off? I’ve seen other reviews of people receiving used dirty shoes and other unacceptable issues and I’m afraid not. It’s a shame.
