Western Embroidery Long Sleeve Denim Minidress

I purchased this dress on sale and alterered it quite drastically because i liked the way the bodice hugged me and I wanted to try wearing it as a blouse, not a dress! This is another way of saying I definitely agree that the top is more snug than the bottom of the dress. I wore it to a country line dancing night and i think it worked! The square neckline is very flattering and the shoulders are slightly poofed (very slightly). The only thing to bear in mind is that the whole thing fastens down the front but not buttons-- with small snaps-- so it's important to choose a size up from regular if you don't want to put too much stress on the snaps and worry about them opening. I remember stretching or something and i undind the top snap accidentally. But if you order a size up the problem is likely solved. I wore a non-obtrusive bra to give myself a little more wiggle room and that seemed mostly good. I am growing to love this brand and i really like the Western collection they have this fall!
