BEAUTIFUL FIT AND FLARE SHIRTDRESS
Bought the size 12 and 14, and the 12 was a better fit. The 14 was too tight. Gorgeous one and done dress. So well-constructed with a fitted torso and waist, then the pleated skirt flares slightly without looking puffy or dowdy. The fabric is good quality, slightly crisp, with a little sheen so the cream-color looks rich. Really classic dress. Avec Les Filles please keep this style around and make other colors. Check your sizing though due to inconsistency.

Arrived with pen marks on button placket
I really wanted to love this dress but ALF is soooo inconsistent with their sizing. I ordered a 14 after other reviews said it ran super small and the dress is so big that it looks frumpy on me. As other reviews have mentioned, the prong on the belt is too short for the buckle so the belt does not stay closed whatsoever. It pops open with even the slightest movement. My particular dress also arrived with blue pen marks on the button placket, presumably from where the buttons were meant to be stitched but they do not steam away like tailors pen does.

Beautiful Fabric and Fit
Love this dress - the only issue is the belt isn't functional. The belt is very small and comes unlatched - even though the dress itself fits well with some room at the waist. I emailed in to request a replacement and it's only AI responding so I'm using a different belt.
