Stained and had a hard time returning it

Stained and had a hard time returning it. Beautiful dress and the fit was perfect, but I can't wear it with a big stain on the rear end. The manager at the Nordstrom Rack in Wheaton did finally take it back, but he gave me a really hard time and made me feel like a criminal. I understand it was final sale, but should I be forced to accept a damaged product?

no zipper openings on the side or back

The dress looks fine, but there are no zipper openings on the side or back. I purchased a little bigger than my size online, but could not put on.
