Anthem Round Toe Lacer H2O Boot (Women)

These are AWESOME! They took a little breaking in, as expected, and then perfect. I needed a new boot for weekly riding and around the barns because I’d just figured out an old pair from another brand did NOT have a reinforced toe (a horse stepping on your toes is a useful way to find that out lol). So I got these a few months ago and they’re great. I actually had another horse brush over the top of these as I turned him around in a stall, and he stutter-stepped off as he felt them, so it’s also helpful that they’re substantial enough for even the horse to realize he’s accidentally stepping on you. After a few rides, I’d broken in the ankle enough that I forgot they were pretty new. True to size for all my other Ariat boots and shoes. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These boots are beautiful and exactly what I wanted to replace my 20+ year old lace up boots from Ariat. HOWEVER, I wear a size 7 WIDE and when I ordered these boots in that size, they squeezed so tight on the width that even if I had them stretched they’d be too tight. I was so disappointed. I went back and looked and it appears that women’s “wide width” by Ariat is only a C width, not a D width like many other brands. This is so frustrating because I know I’m not the only woman with wide feet. Ariat, you could do so much better than this! And I would absolutely re-purchase these in a heartbeat if you actually made a wide boot. I would’ve ordered men’s boots except my feet are too small for the men’s shoe sizes. But at least the men’s boots come in a D width as their standard width!
