Patton Boot (Men)

I've had these boots for a few years now. They have been my go to and are by far my favorite. They were comfy right out of the box. I have them in my weekly rotation. I am extremely happy with them. I'd be devastated if the were ever lost, so much so that they only travel in my carry on.

The Patton might be an overlooked boot in the Allen Edmonds lineup, but I think it's one of their best to date. sharing the same last as the Higgins Mill, it prioritizes comfort but is able to pull off a dressier look with its toe cap. A key feature not mentioned in the product description is that it has a fully gusseted tongue, which arguably makes it even more weatherproof than the Higgins Mill. I have the patton in AE's waxed kudu leather, which has a matte pebbled texture and some character, as the material is harvested from wild game.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Boots are good looking and overall fit and sizing are similar to other AE boots, what I do not like is how the tongue is attached . The seam is very uncomfortable on the top of your foot. It needs to be more like the Higgins Mills boot . These are my favorite boots.
