Great Looking Shoe But Poor Fit
The Park Avenue Verse is a great looking shoe. The suede is soft and gives the shoes a softer construction. The softer construction resulted in a looser fit for the RIGHT shoe compared to the left shoe. The loose fit for the right shoe is uncomfortable. The left shoe fit is perfect. Unfortunately, I cannot return the shoes because I had rubber taps placed on the heels and I wore them outside and dirtied the soles. I own many pairs of Allen Edmonds and have never been disappointed until now.

My pair arrived today
The suede is exactly like another Allen Edmonds pair that has become problematic--my feet had been somewhat swollen, now back to width D. The photo is accurate, but the shoes were shipped with "normal" lacing rather than the decorative version in the photo. Fit is as expected for an Edmonds made-in-USA shoe. I like the suede: living in a resort-ish Florida town, it's good for events that expect a dress shirt and maybe a sport coat.
