The sizing is ridiculous. Probably the most average person size of 10.5 looks like it made for Shaquille O’Neal. Cannot exchange at the sale price I bought them at either.

Beautifully made and incredibly comfortable
Classically designed. Great quality. Beautifully made and incredibly comfortable though with a couple of surprises: 1. The sole is somehow extremely springy - I've got other AE boots with the same sole pattern but less bounce. 2. The Finger loop at the back of the boot is way too small to get my finger into - please add another 1/2 inch of diameter in that loop tab. I'm really looking forward to experiencing the joys of waterproof and fabulous grip!!

Needs improvement
I love Allen Edmonds shoes and have 4 pairs, but this boot somehow doesn’t meet the level I have come to expect. The leather isn’t as supple and the fit is off. The toe box too wide and breaks over your toes at the joints. h. The shaft is too stiff. Leaving me with bruised shins and my toes chafed.
