Boulevard Cap Toe Derby (Men)

I was expecting a lot more from these shoes, but after about a week's worth of wear, sadly I was horribly mistaken. I've been wearing the shoes for for 2-3 days a week for the past 3 weeks or so, and the wear on the soles has been worse than I've ever had on any shoe. I've owned many shoes before, and even a year into the wear, never had a sole look so bad. In particular, the bottoms of the soles are starting to wear so that the stitching is frayed. Also, the front of the sole looks like wear after half a year, not a few days. I don't do anything abnormal in my shoes and wear it like any of my other dress shoes, so I'm not sure what's going on. I can't imagine anyone paying full retail, let alone even getting them on sale like I did, and expecting this quality. With regards to the other aspects, the fit is fine. Not the most comfortable, but not bad. I liked the color, minus the fading of the darker brown to lighter brown being uneven on both shoes. Overall they look nice, but after a few uses, the front of the sole will drastically bring that down, at least it did for me.
