Trail Runner Hiking Shoe (Women)

I am a TTS 9 and needed a 9.5. They are wide and clunky so not the best looking shoe. The comfort is so-so…I’m still breaking mine in and have gotten blisters. I got them on sale so they will be good for hiking, which is why I bought them. Not overly impressed, though. I do like that they are sustainably made.

Very comfortable, haven’t actually hiked in them yet, but comfy for long days running around doing errands etc. They do have a unique shape, which I like at the toe box but sticks out just a tad too far in the heel. Biggest criticism is that despite air hole perforations they are so hot and have no air flow. But overall satisfied and will keep.

I own 9 pairs of Allbirds and love them all for different reasons. Love this one for it's versatility however when I was running in the hills, I tripped over a rock, stubbed my toe on the rock and ended up tearing the front end of the shoe. I thought the shoe would tolerate train running which is mostly has, except this one mishap. Otherwise, very comfortable and true to size but use thin'ish socks.

I bought these in black because that was the only color available at the lowest sale price. Generally they are OK, except the style and color makes them look like old man shoes -- like shoes my elderly dad would've worn with white knee-high socks. I haven't worn them to hike yet, so I don't know how comfortable they will be. I also don't like the new style these days with the elastic top where you insert your foot and no tongue. They are so much harder to put on. I don't understand why shoe designers think that this something consumers like or want. They must be cheaper to produce that way because I see other shoe brands doing the same thing. Yuck.
