'90s Pinch High Waist Straight Leg Organic Cotton Baggy Jeans

I've had these on my wishlist (any pair of Pinch Waist Agolde) for a long time and finally pulled the trigger. I don't know what the hype is about. They fit, but were pretty uncomfortable, even after wearing them around the house all afternoon. I took them off and put on a pair of Madewell 90's Straight jeans and they are instant comfort, and have the same exact look, for less money.

These are GORGEOUS. They look so, so good — very flattering cut. If I were the type of person who was ok wearing snug jeans around her waist I would have kept the 29 (my usual size). They made me look and feel like a million bucks. The 30 was roomy at the waist but also roomy everywhere else — not the look I wanted (I have so many wide leg jeans; wanted a more traditional straight leg). Because I'd like to sit for hours without feeling restricted at the waist I sent both back, though I might end up re-buying the 29s for date night. Denim is thick, feels good, and classic medium blue.
