painful
These are so painful to wear, tight across the hips and waist. The legs are not straight they’re more wide-leg. Wish they had more give, i returned them.

Favorite New Jeans
5’8” 150 lbs-hourglass. Luv these jeans. Comfy! Dress them up or down. Slenderizing 360 degrees. Ankle length on my tall frame. Luv them so much got a second pair in stone color. They fit exactly the same. AG jeans are great quality. They do stretch ever so slightly. Fingers crossed they drop them in optic white and black.

New favorite jeans
I’m 5’9 and it’s hard for me to find jeans with an inseam I like. These fit me similar to how they fit the model in my true size. Would love this style in more washes.

Cropped Boxy Straight-Leg with High-Rise
It’s a 100% cotton, structured denim - no stretch, unlike most AG jeans but they’ll last longer without the elastane. They’re high-rise, which I adore, since they cinch everything at my waist in perfectly. It’s a straight-leg - however unlike the AG Saige (true straight-leg silhouette) and AG Mari (slim straight-leg; tapered from knee down), the Rian is more like a boxier straight leg. It’s not “cropped” per se, however it’s a shorter inseam than the usual AG denim for women, which is a 32” inseam. I think it’s a great wash for the spring season and I absolutely adore them, for myself!

these are not straight leg jeans
Well, these sure don’t fit like they do on the model. The waist area fits OK, maybe a little loose, except in the rise (which feels a little short), but I can pull at least 6 inches of material out from either side of my thighs. They look more like balloon jeans on me. And they do taper at the ankles, which makes them more like Mom jeans than a true straight leg. They’re huge! They look like clown pants on me. Yeah, these don’t say “slim” straight, but I’ve tried plenty of jeans advertised as slim that are also very baggy under the butt and at the thighs and knees. What is it? Why do all these “straight leg” jeans fit like this on me? Is it because I’m short? Would they fit more like the model if I had the same measurements but I was over 6 feet tall? Can some designer out there please make a high-waisted straight leg jean that’s actually a straight leg and is not super baggy around the thighs, tush, and knees of a petite woman?? (Levi’s 501s are not the answer because they are NOT high rise on me, nor are the Wedgie Icons. They both have perfect straight legs but the rise is much too low for me.) Can there ever be truth in advertising so that I’m not buying and returning these so-called “straight leg” jeans??
