Nikki Cutoff Denim Shorts

I am 5’1, about 126-133 lbs pending how I’m doing in the eating category. I bought these in the 27 because the 28’s were not available. I thought I’d have to send them back as size 4 is usually too tight. They fit and I can breathe, but I AM waiting to see if they restock in the 28’s. I like them enough to keep them for my slimmer days, so if you are short like me and below 125 in weight, I highly recommend these jean shorts as they are an excellent length. They don’t make me look like an old lady. They are a thin jean, but wash well and still are high quality. These thick jeans from back in my old days (I’m 50) I just can’t figure out why girls want to bring them back as I think they are uncomfortable. These shorts are mid rise, which I love. The high rise...since I am short in legs and body...are just uncomfortable and make my stomach bulge. These come right below my belly button and make my stomach look flattering. They push in the lower bulgy part but don’t come up to my chest! Yay! So IF you like midrise, and like soft jeans, these are the shorts for you. The distressing is not exposing either. I can garden in these and wear them to the local winery/out and about. My husband even likes these and told me to not send back this pair if they don’t have the 28’s, so I guess that is saying something! But ...I’d recommend going up if you are on the higher end of the weight. So I would definitely prefer they restock! So i can get the 28’s.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to return these shorts. The length and color were great. However, they have too much stretch in the fabric. I am looking for a pair of longer jean shorts without stretch. I don’t care for stretch in all of my jeans. They also fit much smaller than I expected. I usually wear a 28 or 29 and the 30 was good in the waist but too snug on thighs. That might be because of the stretch material.
