Mari Raw Hem Ankle Slim Straight Leg Jeans

The wash on this pair of denim from AG is perfect. Not too dark not too light with great fading and subtle wiskering.However, the description is way off. The front rise is almost 11 inches not 9 3/4. They are not 12 1/2 inches wide at the bottom of the legs, they are 16 inches, 8 inches across on each side. The model must be extremely tall because I’m 5‘6“ and they hit right below my ankles. The good news is, they have a raw hem and so I was able to cut them to the length I wanted . I threw them in the wash to have the ends look good with slight fraying. also on the photo of the model, it makes them look more narrow at the bottom. I don’t know how that’s possible when they are actually much wider in person. I have four pairs of AG Jeans, they are my go to. I do have an issue and don’t understand why they don’t make the pockets deeper though. That’s a mystery. I only have one pair that has deeper pockets. I still want to take them to my tailor because I want the width on the bottom to be 6 1/2 or 7 wide not 8 inches. I don’t think that looks great with the length I cut them ,right above the angle. having said all that, I actually really like the fit and the longer rise on them and I don’t think the length on the model looks that great either they look way too short. I have them just above the ankle, which looks good to me, because it looks great with sneakers, flip-flops, and loafers. like all of my AG denim jeans I always go a size up. I am a size 10 and the 33 fits me perfect because I’m curvy. I wrote all of this to help people. I wish more people that wrote reviews would be more descriptive.
