Paper Clip Necklace

Don’t trust the reviews. Whoever is buying this to be a long piece is crazy. It is exactly the length it should be to wear simply and solo with a tank or tee, OR pair with a longer pendant piece to fancy-up. It is good played so I remember to remove and not shower with it on to promote longevity. This is spot-on for current trend of paper lip necklaces. For the price, I’m probably grabbing a few more to save for future or for gifts.

This necklace is fine, but when it arrived it was much thinner and shorter than the listing made it appear. First of all, it's only 16" long, not 18". Also, it appears to be a weighty chain, but it's extremely delicate. The paper clips are 3mm (1/8") wide and the actual metal is about .5mm thick. Look at the chain in this picture. Now imagine that the metal is half as thick as shown. Then you'll have a more accurate view of this product. I tried taking a picture of the chain to show you how thin it is, but in photographs it looks much thicker. So I can't fault the site for inaccurately representing this. It appears to be well made but it's much thinner and shorter than I wanted. I'm sure it will be fine for someone who wants a delicate chain.

First off, to the reviewer who said it looks "cheapy" you are being too critical because look at the original price it is $100... If you want something that is AUTHENTIC and that is REAL then get an ACTUAL 14K GOLD PAPER CLIP NECKLACE which costs about $1000 & up... In addition, I believe this product serves it's purpose for everyday wear, and it is super cute. Also, it is not approximately 18 inches it is 17 inches and a quarter. This product is made for brunch or something for casual wear, as well as if you want to wear something over your gold accent necklace to give it a more spunk. Overall, I like the chain.
