Not a good boot for me
My feet are painful in these boots after 5 miles. Horrible Achilles tendon pain. Toes. Arch.

TERRIBLE laces but great boots!
Merrell shoes and boots are always very comfortable and supportive. However, their laces are almost always terrible, especially these tubular ones -- they never stay tied. I know how to tie a lace with opposing directions so they stay tied, but it doesn't help with tubular laces. Just be prepared to buy LockLaces or some other laces if you want them to stay tied.
