Run small in the waist
Shorts are great; however, definitely run small at the waist by about a size. I usually wear size 34, but the Large were definitely too tight to wear comfortably.

Runs small
As other reviewers have said, these run very small at the waist. Too bad because the medium is a perfect length but the waist is really tight. I usually wear 32” waist, these are way smaller than that.
