seriously outta control BOXY in the shoulders
I don’t know what’s going on this year, but this sweatshirt is just like the matching longline puffer vest: HUGE shoulders. For added weirdness, the sleeves are enormous in the upper arms. SO unflattering. This makes me look like a linebacker just like the vest. I love an oversized sweatshirt, so it’s not that it runs too big. It’s that it’s ridiculously cut and unflattering just like the puffer vest. Somebody somewhere had some bright idea and made some changes to some staple Zella pieces and now they’ve got some explaining to do. Also, thought the slits would make it interesting, but they don’t. They just look weird.

Softest Fleece
The crewneck sweatshirt is ultra soft and plush. The slits add a level of uniqueness than just a plain sweatshirt. Love the length in the body however the arm length is less than desirable (for me). The arms fall short about 2 inches of my wrists. For reference I’m 5’10. I ordered the large and x-large. No difference in arm length.
