I'm happy with this. Rain beads up on the outside. Hood with drawstring is big enough to comfortably cover my hair & shield my face.
Some negative reviews about the "plastic-y" feel against bare skin?? In cold rainy weather I wear long sleeves so have no direct skin contact. This fits comfortably over sweaters or medium weight sweatshirts. I wear this to stay dry, not for warmth.
Wearing this is easier for me than fumbling with umbrellas while getting in & out of cars.

Tag says waterproof?
Just bought this in the store, as I needed a waterproof jacket. The manufacturer's hang tag says waterproof but online it's listed as water resistant which matches to what other reviewers here experienced. I know the store will take it back but I'm frustrated to have to make another trip. The online description was adjusted here months ago. Wish the products descriptions (tags) on the floor were adjusted as well. Happy that I accidentally stumbled on this review before going on vacation. It's really a cute jacket if you only need water resistant, though!

Good closet staple
I was looking for a raincoat that wasn’t a trench but long and not super expensive, this one checked all the boxes. Luckily I bought it when it was marked down. It’s pretty basic but I like that you can cinch the waist a bit. I wore it on a recent rainy New York trip. As long as you wear a bunch of layers, you’ll feel warm! I do like the length as it kept my legs a bit warm. I’m 5’2’’ and it came down almost to my shins, so felt long but the kept me warm. I’m happy with this purchase!
