Day Out Sleeveless Dress

I am very pleasantly surprised that this turned out to be a perfect, lightweight summer dress for my upcoming travels to a very hot and humid country. I also live in Phoenix where the summer is brutal, so lightweight and breathable fabrics are key. I never wear tan, but I tried this at the sale price, and it is actually an understated neutral that will get a lot of wear. Also, the gathered style is not my normal go to, but it's fairly subtle (I didn't find the top overly large), and the "loose" style works with the vibe. It is a smidge short, but with shorts underneath, it shouldn't be a problem. TTS/slightly large, bought an XS.

Love this dress, it is great for casual social events in the summer. The material is lightweight and wicking. The cut is sporty and flattering. One challenge is that the armholes are pretty big — they definitely show my bra. So, make sure you wear this dress with something pretty or may e sporty underneath. Still — I have owned this for one week and already reached for it three times. I am back to order one in navy for my work from home outfit in this hot weather.

The sizing/proportions on this are SO off. If you have a very large chest and average/small hips, this will work for you. If you are small chested or even just kind of average all-around, the the top part will be huge. Gave back one star because the fabric seems great for summer (it’s kind of a swooshy material?). Instant return.
