Wool & Nylon Zip Jacket

It’s really well made and surprisingly warm, yet lightweight where you could use this in very cold winter weather. Warmer than some ski jackets I’ve had. It’s fairly fitted however with that said, given the higher cost, it’s slightly large at the bottom, aka hip area. The photo is correct, I had hoped the small would be tapered more at the bottom too as the rest is just so beautiful. It’s so well made and comfortable and warm I can’t imagine returning it even though I truly had wanted it to have the slim fit throughout. It’s still more slim fitted than any jacket I’ve owned for winter, I am just being very meticulous about what I loved and what I wish were better. I considered bringing to my tailor but I believe it’s just not possible to safely take in the sides as it’s where wool and nylon meet and would likely be a very risky venture and she is so honest I doubt she would want to accept the project for fear of destroying the jacket. It’s overall great, I would give five stars, but given cost and lack of taper at bottom I can only give four stars. Still it’s a lovely jacket .
