Skyrise Flare Jeans

Straight out of the bag, the flaps on the back pockets were all misshapen. Who has time to iron pocket flaps, or stitch them down? Not me. Additionally, the product description says the inseam is 32", but the inseam on the jeans I received is 31", which is too short for me. It's too bad, because the dusty blue is a really beautiful and versatile color. Disappointingly, I have to return these. For size reference, I normally wear a size 8 / 29 in jeans, and I ordered these in a size 6, which fits perfectly in the waist and hips. It's just too bad they are too short and have fussy back pockets.

The front slash pockets are slimming and the jeans look good with a belt. I just washed them so the jury is out on how they will hold up. May need to tack down the back fake pockets.

These jeans fit true to size and are incredibly comfortable. The fit is flattering without feeling tight, and they hold their shape all day. I didn’t have to size up or down—my usual size was perfect. Definitely a new go-to pair. I’m so happy Vicki Hammett my stylist put on my board.

I love W&W jeans, I own so many. These are the typical order one size down-ish fit, and they fit and feel great. My problem with these jeans are the flaps on the back pretend pockets. After wash, they never stay down... so the view from the back is never pretty. They're bulky, so even when they do stay down, it's still not very flattering. I am going to attempt to embroider them with little x's to keep them from flying up - but buyer beware! I think my biggest frustration isn't even the lack of flattery... but that the back pockets are fake. If you're going to go through all that trouble to make flaps - at least have a real pokcet! Okay, vent session over. Again - love Wit & Wisdom, they're allowed to get it wrong every once in a while 😏

I purchased a 4P, which was a petite size, but unfortunately, it was still too big and quite long, similar to a regular size. Also the flare was too wide. Going to return.

I exclusively wear W&W because of how the jeans fit, they’re butter-soft, and wash well. The super high-rise and the true flare leg are things I didn’t know I needed. They fit perfectly, if not a little large. If plain old high rise isn’t enough, trust me! Try the skyrise.
