Whisper Knit Ankle Pants

I purchased two of these pants in my usual size large. For reference; hourglass shape, 5'9, 165 lbs. Not only were they slightly large, they were very large. Definitely size down. Also, the style is a bit too 80's-ish, with the hip and upper thigh area too baggy, and that awful tapering down the leg that doesn't flatter most. The ankle length was good, the fabric feels luxurious, and a weight that no bulges or bumps will be seen. I couldn't recommend for my shape and size.

I’m so mixed up about these. Purchased the off white. Lovely looking. Soft inside fabric comfortable area against skin, but might return as undies can be seen. Could wear boy shorts undies underneath but they might look odd. I’m confused. Want to keep them. I don’t mind blurred see through, but this is very noticeable. Great if one wears longer tshirt, sweat shirt, or perhaps long-tailed button down shirt. Definitely size down. In 5-6, 137 to 145 depending on day, and if I ate pasta week before. My tummy goes up and down. Medium was huge. Small is great at least before washing, and there is no shrinkable cotton.
