We the Free Float On Flare Jeans

I already own a pair of Free People jeans in a similar style so I knew exactly the kind of flare I was getting into with these. Considering I bought the style again… I’m a big fan! These were exactly what I was expecting them to be. Good length, comfortable, stretchy, and super sexy looking. I posted pics so you get a real good idea of how much of a flare this is. I am 5’1 and 133 pounds and standing on my tip toes. If I want to wear these with flats, I would need to trim them but I personally love the length it gives me. I do need to wear platform sandals/boots with these. For sizing reference, I am a 4-6 size small and the 27 fit perfect. I’ve had four kids, two C-sections and have a little kangaroo pouch, and these do a great job at masking that area. And, they make your butt look awesome! Side note, every time I wear the pair I already own in a similar style, I get complimented on my jeans.

For paying full price for a Nordstrom item I expect higher quality. The smell on these jeans are awful. Every time I wear them I keep thinking someone pooped around me. I expect some smelly pants once in awhile from Ross, but not Nordstrom. I should have returned them upon opening but I thought after a few washes it would subside. After 5 washes the scent still lingers strong as ever. The pros are that the fit is nice and does make my butt look good. I do not like to pay for non seamed bottom jeans (because they unravel and eventually rip and look raggedy) but I made an exception because I knew I would get these hemmed. Nordstrom hemming messed that up and rather than giving a normal sewn hem like I asked, they just took a scissors and cut it. For $35 I was not happy. But too late because they are now too short to properly hem! Overall, I’m regretting this purchase and starting to question the quality of Nordstrom…

First pair of jeans I bought since having a baby 8 months ago. I still have about 12 lbs to lose but wanted something fun to wear for now, especially something flattering to my less than flat belly. I am 5’3 and 125 lbs and the size 27 fit perfectly. I will need to wear something with a heel or hem them - but that was expected. Besides that- they fit great. Make my butt look awesome. So glad I bought these.

Super soft and comfortable jeans. True to size. Just an FYI: These jeans are called “Float on Flare”. Free People sells identical jeans called “JUST Float on Flare”. These two styles look exactly the same but fit VERY DIFFERENTLY. These are true to size. You will need to size up if you purchase the jeans called “Just Float on Flare”. Anyway, cute jeans, although not super practical. Also you will need heels. I’m 5’7” and need 3 inch heels to not step on them.
