Waverlie Loafer (Women)

Very cute loafers. I bought the gray ones, which can be a hard color to find in loafers. They are reasonably comfortable, but have two major problems: 1) These shoes run small from toe-to-heel and wide from side-to-side. Sizing down from a 6.5 to a 6 to deal with the width didn't work because half a size down won't fit my foot length (but it should). The sides gap when I walk and the shoes feel like they are in danger of slipping off. 2) The lug soles looks like rubber but are actually made of some sort of much lighter material (foam, maybe?) and don't have the grip of rubber. Fine on carpet, but very slippery on tile. Would give 3.5 stars if I could. Went with 4 over 3 because they are so cute, the surfaces I'll be wearing them on aren't slippery ones, and I hope to find inserts that help with the fit issue.

Runs WAY too big, very wide. I normal wear a women's 10.5 or 11 and usually if too big, heel or toe inserts do the trick. But these 11s are so wide my feet fall right out of them. And unfortunately. I have not been able to find any sort of inserts to help with the width. It's a shame because they are very attractive shoes.
