Uptown Hybrid Penny Loafer (Women)

This is a beautiful loafer with soft leather (love the suede upper) and great arch support and I love the fact that it is lightweight and easily packed in a suitcase as I travel a fair amount. Unfortunately, it does not work with my foot type: wide toe box and narrow heel. I measure as an 8 1/2 and that's the size I bought, but my toes came to the top without socks. I found the toe box to be narrow as well. I am somewhere between an 8 1/2 and 9. If I were to size up to a 9, it would not work for me, either as my heel definitely wouldn't stay in place. I find it difficult to get the correct fit in Vionic shoes. I would like to see wider toe boxes on their shoes as I have bunions. I do appreciate the arch support and their stylish options, but obviously slip-ons won't work for me. Sadly, I will return them.

What can I say? This is my fourth pair of Uptowns. They make my feet feel happy, they look beautiful, and they are easy to travel with (I pack them in my saddlebags for motorcycle journeys). Lightweight, polished yet sporty, they work with many outfits. As long as Vionic keeps bringing out new colors, I'll keep buying them!
