Alameda Mary Jane Flat (Women)

This is the kind of shoe that I search for. I have medium arches, a wide toe box, and a narrow heel. I also have bunions. I measure as an 8 1/2, but I sized up to a 9 to allow for more room in the toe box. This is some slight slippage on the heel, but with the strap, I feel that it is a workable shoe for me. I like the leather upper and I can see wearing these with trousers, skirts, and shorts, so it's a versatile shoe. It skews a little on the dressier side, but I love them. In addition, the oatmeal color is a nice neutral color that will work with my wardrobe. In general, I would like Vionic to work on wider toe boxes as my toes feel ever so slightly squeezed in these.

Was at a work conference and was wearing orthotic heals from another company. By lunch my feet were killing me. Thankfully, there was a mall nearby and was able to snag these. They paired perfectly with my suit and I felt inside relief when I put them on! I’ve worn them numerous times and have had them for several weeks and have not experienced any abnormal wear or scuffing! And, her compliments when I’m wearing them! Will be purchasing more in other colors!!

I wear these all the time to work now for the support and I get tons of compliments. I took a mile-long walk outside the office and experienced a little chafing on the outside of my foot - under my ankle -- but my arches felt fine and I had no issues on the back near the tendon that usually ends up blistering - did not have that problem with these even on a long walk. I do love the velcro since it's so adjustable, but one shoe does seem to have some slippage with the velcro, maybe I'm favoring that foot or something when I walk. It's not enough to be problematic, though. I'd take velcro over a buckle that doesn't quite fit right any day, plus it's way easier to put on. Plan to get another pair in a different color.
