The leather is incredibly smooth. I have wide feet, and the shoe's width is M. Like any new shoe, it requires a break-in period. The sole provides moderate cushioning.

I had to return these. They were cute but without an adjustable strap they would slip off when walking. I tried going down a half size with no luck.

Great looking shoe, too narrow in toe
I ordered both the leather and suede, the leather is so soft the suede is a bit stiffer. I have wide feet and ordered my usual Vince size 7.5, too narrow in the toe box. Had to send both pairs back.
