High Waist Tailored Wide Leg Pants

Ladies, please take note. These are not true to size. My measurements are 35"-26.5" to 27.5"-35". Weight 120lbs. Height 5'8". Often I take a size 4, but sometimes I am between a 4 and a 6, or just a 6, due to an added inch or so around my waist as a 56 year old. I went by the size guide using primarily my current waist measurement, thinking that the pants would be fine with a little bit of room in the hips & rear because linen/ linen blend or silk pants should never run small and I already own a few other pairs in a size 6 that fit perfectly in the waist and hips. I already own a number of Vince pieces in my wardrobe and they are size 6. But these pants are absolutely HUGE! They literally fall down to almost my knees when zipped up. So sadly, these pants are getting returned. I will be re-ordering either for a 2 or a 4 instead. if I get a size 4, I might need to have them tailored, but given the fact the sizing is so off, I am not sure if a 2 or a 4 would be better.

Good quality and drapes well. The waist and legs are both pretty wide, but it's not like it falls off my waist. The silhouette is straight and clean. It'll be a work pant but I can also dress it down by pulling it down a little (since it runs a bit big) and wear it as mid/low waist and pair it with crop top & big sneakers. The crease in front looks sophisticated, but I imagine I'll have to iron SUPER carefully each tim after wash since it pulls the fabric back a little.

I love these pants and am so pleased that I was not discouraged by the prior two reviews. These are wide-legged but not at all baggy. My regular size (8) fit perfectly, the fabric is beautiful and I’m thinking about ordering a second pair. I have several Vince items and these will fit nicely into the fold.
