High Waist Tailored Wide Leg Pants

Ladies, please take note. These are not true to size. My measurements are 35"-26.5" to 27.5"-35". Weight 120lbs. Height 5'8". Often I take a size 4, but sometimes I am between a 4 and a 6, or just a 6, due to an added inch or so around my waist as a 56 year old. I went by the size guide using primarily my current waist measurement, thinking that the pants would be fine with a little bit of room in the hips & rear because linen/ linen blend or silk pants should never run small and I already own a few other pairs in a size 6 that fit perfectly in the waist and hips. I already own a number of Vince pieces in my wardrobe and they are size 6. But these pants are absolutely HUGE! They literally fall down to almost my knees when zipped up. So sadly, these pants are getting returned. I will be re-ordering either for a 2 or a 4 instead. if I get a size 4, I might need to have them tailored, but given the fact the sizing is so off, I am not sure if a 2 or a 4 would be better.
